Hello munchkins, this guide is for all of our new members that might need help for the first few tries on joining these events! We hope it will serve its purpose, welcome to the hunt!
What are events?
Events are one of the best features we have on Amino by far! As you know participating in events happens in various communities from English, Spanish, Portuguese, Arabic, Russian, French, German-speaking places in which you earn opportunities to earn exclusive frames & bubbles.
How can I find out when events happen?
Each event has a date, month and place where it shall be held, and you may wonder how will you find it? Worry not, you can check our calendar that is always updated with events that will take place in near future! Another good way to stay alert is to join our Event Chat, in which we will send announcements for new events and starting dates! You can also check our featured feed that always has currently happening events featured!
What are AF&E Chats & Helpers?
Each event has our private group chat created in order to assist our members, but as well as each event has helpers and translators! You can always reach out to helper for assistance, and we have translators in case the event is held in communities with different languages!
How can I participate in events?
Once you find the place where event shall partake in, you should join the community that will be the host of the event! Now, each event has its own set of rules you should always read and follow, they have special activities created in order for us to have fun and earn our frames & bubbles! Challenges, activities are important to be done on deadline as much as it is important to follow the rules and register them when the time comes!

What are requirements, wikis, submissions, verifications and registration?
Requirements:
Each event can have requirements of different kind! Let's go over each, so you get to understand how it works!
-
hashtag - each event has # you use in order for them to find your blogs easier!
-
minutes & level - events can ask you to have specific amount of weekly or daily minutes spent in community in order to get the prize, as well as they can ask you to reach specific level I in order getting the prize!
-
- rules - events will have unique rules you would need to follow depending on challenge, community etc. so make sure to always read blogs carefully!
Wikis and Blogs:
-
Events can be done in wikis or blogs! Some communities will specify if you need to post your challenge in wiki or blog, so please read carefully, so you don't risk on losing the prize for not doing it in wrong format!
Wiki submissions
-
You may come across the time when you will be asked to make your wiki golden and wonder what that means! There is a video example you can see here that will show you how to get your wiki golden!
-
Now all we need to do is go to our profile and create a new wiki and do the challenge! Once we are sure everything is correct, we shall click on three dots in the top corner of our wiki and press on the button" submit to the wiki" once that is done all you need to do is wait for staff to approve it! Once it is approved, you will receive notification that says your wiki is approved, and you will pin it on your profile by pressing the yellow pin on top of your approved wiki.
Verification and Registration:
-
Verification process can be done in two-ways! One is by creating google form and other is by creating registration wiki!
-
Google form way is super easy to understand we shall leave you a video for example since it is easier to understand through visual aspect! All you will need to do is open the form link through your browser and fill out the places with global link, activities links and your profile in the community!
-
Wiki registration is done by staff creating a wiki in which you are required to leave your information! Usually that will be your global link, profile link, activities links! You will leave that information in comment section and wait to be verified
How will I know I got approved?
As there is two ways to register there is also two ways to check if you are verified depending on the verification way community chooses to go with!
If verification was done by the registration wiki a staff member or helper will comment underneath your comment giving you a number and a check mark! If you are verified, they usually use ✅ and if something was wrong with any of your challenges, links they will give you ❌ and call you to fix mistakes!
If the verification is done by the google forms after staff closes the forms and verifies privately all of the users, they will make a post in which they'll present you with google sheet! When you check google sheet you will see if you are on the list of approved for the prizes!
google sheet video example coming soon!
How do I make my own event in my community?
If you are an agent of a community, you can request your own event by emailing Team Amino and selecting "I'd like to request an event". Team Amino only accepts Event requests from the 1st to the 10th of each month.
It is recommended to find a frame and bubble set before requesting an event, because in most cases TA only gives 3 days to send them the frame, bubble, and banner.
